Sweet September

This weeks song “Sweet September” is a song about how other people can get on the way of the dream, or more precisely “living the dream.” By this I mean, if you consider your self lucky enough to be doing something that actually is your dream, others around you who are doing it with you, or alongside of you, but they do not appreciate the beauty of being able to do what you do. If for them it is a chore, but you rely on their input, this can start to drag you down.

To be able to d something you love and make a living out of it, is a beautiful thing. But some people just get comfortable and when you get comfortable, it can turn into just another job. This is why it is important to take distance from time to time and re-evaluate what it is you want to do. Sometimes your dream might not turn out to be what you thought it was going to be, or that dream just evolves. If this is the case, you need to get out of that comfort zone and alter your course, no matter how scary it might seem. Life is too short to let others ruin your dream, so surround your self with people who support you and inspire you.
