Quick tip 237 Be grateful

Yesterdays Quick tip was  a bit of tough love, you can read it HERE. If so many people around you doubt what you do and don’t see it as a real job, how can you keep your spirits high? And keeping your spirit high is extremely important, when facing the mountain to climb in music business.

Be grateful. Recognise the great things you have achieved. Write them down, post them on social media, take pictures of them. Do what ever it takes for you to be able to recognise that you achieved this and to be grateful about it. If you have had the chance to learn to play an instrument, you are privileged and you should be grateful about it. Nothing annoys me more than musicians taking what they have for granted. Yes we have put the work in, but it is still a gift to be able to do it.

And while you are at it, learn to be grateful of all the good things in your life. If you force your self to write them down, you might be surprised how many things you come up with, and suddenly life does not seem so bad 🙂
