We like to think there is a big break around the next corner. But the truth is there is very few big breaks in music business. It is usually a combination of many little victories that paves the road to the top. But in the moment it can be hard to recognise these little victories. And if we don’t learn to recognise them, it is so easy to lose faith and momentum.

Set your self achievable goals all along the way. For example, if you are only starting up, how to grow your twitter following. Set a landmarks, first 100, 200, 500, 1000 and so forth. These help you see progress. Also do the same with your live shows or even songwriting. You get better one song at the time. No body is a master in the beginning. So learnt to recognise those small victories.
