It’s time for some hard love. You want to be a musician, you want to make living playing music. You want to record albums, play live shows, tour the world and… Well you know what I mean… So, get to work! We are well past the point of the days of those deceitful major label men come along and take you for a ride of your life, while milking it all to the last penny.

If you have learned anything so far on this our journey, it is that it is up to you t make it happen. Get good at the business, or give up. It’s as simple as that. It is the musician entrepreneurs that will survive in this new music business. It is the inventive new artists who build their own careers who are getting bigger, while even the biggest major label artists sales are dropping like rocks. And my prediction is that it’s only a matter of time before the scales tip, and it is the independent artists that become the superstars of the future. So get good at the business, or give up.
