1st of May 2016 Blog update

It’s hard to believe it is May already, but even if the weather is anything to go by, it feels more like February here in Dublin…

But apart from this confused weather, it has been a busy and productive week. I really do feel like I am going through some interesting times in my work life, but only time will tell what comes out of it.

This week, as most weeks taught me few lessons:

  1. We are capable a lot more than we think as long as our heart is in what we do.
  2. Knee injuries can take a long time to recover.
  3. Sometimes the best thing to do is just to go with the flow.

In this weeks song, I once again decided to twist things around a bit musically. I wanted to bring the acoustic guitar once again to the forefront. As usual you can read all about the song in the link below, and you can Download the song from my Bandcamp page. Check it out here:

In the first vlog of the week I purchased a Boss Tera Echo pedal. And in the Monday’s vlog I put it to test:

In Tuesdays vlog I bring you along as I organise a small surprise for my girlfriend:

Vlog 163 I hope she will like my surprise

I start Wednesdays vlog talking about the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. Then as Wednesdays are my studio days and this weeks song revolves around the acoustic guitar, I share with you my acoustic guitar recording tips:

And in Thursdays vlog we continue the build of my new pedal board for acoustic guitar:

In the Friday’s vlog I first talk about this weeks song, and then take you along to our rehearsals:

In the last vlog of the week I catch up with Rory from Melosity and they are looking for some musicians to test their new software. Check it out here:

That definitely was a busy week, and as I write this it is already the early hours of Sunday morning.
