You should know by now that I am a strong advocate of artists connecting with their audience these days. I believe people build a stronger bond with you, if they feel they know you better. I believe this is the key to the success in the modern music business, and the lack of it has been a big part why I think the old music model eventually failed.

So here’s a quick way to start connection with your audience, and even your potential audience. Share what you love. Share music, films, books, art, or what ever you can think of. Share it because you feel strongly about it. Often when you share stuff, people will comment on it, and as you already feel strongly about it, you will have a lot to talk about.
