The inspiration for todays song comes from the most genuine of love, the kind that survived the test of time. OK so I admit it, I am a romantic fool. I believe there is that one person for every one, who you want to spend the rest of your life with. This week’s song got started from a story of a betting clerk from Brooklyn and his wife. Danny and Annie told their story in a StoryCors booth, you can hear more about it HERE in a Ted talk by Dave Isay.
True love can weather any storm. True love is unconditional. It’s when you feel lucky every day to be with that special person. It is not about the material things, It is not about living according to expectations set by the society, family or preconceptions we might have. True love does not care about race, sex, age, family or work background. True love is one of the most powerful forces in the universe.
I loved Danny’s idea of the “Old Radio”, and that had me off on another songwriting adventure. There are days writing a song takes a lot of work, and there are days when the song almost writes it self. This song did very much write it self 🙂
Do me a favour and hit those shares below. I feel strongly about the fact that life is too short to live without that true love. So maybe by sharing this song we will make it happen somewhere to some one. Told you I’m a romantic fool 😉
