Short holiday message

It’s the time of the year again when everything stops for a few days and we try to spend some more time with our families. Of course I am talking about Christmas. I have a funny relationship with this holiday. Part of me loves the festive time, especially when there is family around. The other part of me just want’s to get back to work. I actually love January, for me there is something magical about the beginning of a new year. You take stock on what you did and what your plans are for the year to come. I am often very productive in the first few months of the year, but in a kind of stick to my self way. I hide in my office, write and record music, work on promotions and bookings for all of my projects. It’s not that I dislike Christmas, not at all… I’m just not a big fan of the month building up to it… I think as we all know we will slow down when the Christmas eventually gets here, before it we run around crazy trying to get everything done in time. It’s like the world is coming to an end…

I am going back to Finland for a few days to see the family and stuff myself with my mothers Christmas food 🙂 It’s a tough life. Hopefully I’ll make it to Estonia as well on this trip. It’s been way too long since my last visit there and I love the old city in Tallinn. I’ll be sharing photos from my trip as often as I get online, so keep an eye on the website, facebook or twitter. This time I am bringing my guitar with me, even though the airline will charge me crazy. But my trip to Spain last month thought me not to leave it behind. I’ll just miss it too much.

I’d like to wish everyone a peaceful holidays. Look after yourselves and the ones who need looking after. And I will talk to you all on the other side of the holidays.
